Status and roadmap
Where Minutd stands today and what comes next.
Minutd is pre-release. There is no tagged version yet and the images are not published. This page is updated as steps land.
Roadmap to v0.1
- Walking skeleton: paste a Meet link, the bot joins, records and stores audio.
- Transcripts: provider interface, OpenAI and local Whisper, a meeting detail page.
- Speakers: reading speakers from Meet, alignment, a speaker-coloured transcript. The Meet reading and the alignment are in; the page selectors have not yet been verified against a live call.
- Teams: a Teams platform module, guest join and speakers. See Microsoft Teams.
- Calendar: Google then Microsoft, join rules and auto-join.
- Summaries: OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic providers, prompts, regenerate.
- Polish: setup wizard, Test buttons, retention, slim and local images, docs, the v0.1 release.
- Supporter unlock: the optional signed key for bot name, camera image and join message.
Not in version 1
- Zoom and Webex.
- Live captions in the UI.
- Joining meetings that block guests. Minutd reports the reason instead.
- A hosted service.
- Multiple users. Single user first.
Known risks
- Meet and Teams change their pages without notice. Selectors live in one module per platform with tests against recorded fixtures, so fixes are small.
- Teams tenants can block anonymous join.
- Google may add bot detection.
